As I was removing matrix, I came across a small fossil attached to the ammonite near the center on one side (SEE ALL PHOTOS). I cleaned it with a dremel 290 and used air abrasive in preparing this beauty. Its estimated age of 90-100 million years old places it in the age of dinosaurs, when a vast sea known as the western interior seaway covered the middle of the North American continent.
