Capacitor if present can connect to prongs 1 and 3 on relay. How to test - This 4TM overload should have electrical continuity between the mounting metal and the prong metal.It should have around 0.2 or 0.3 ohms of resistance.Shaking the overload is not a way to test it. It always has a slight internal vibration. The relay should have electrical continuity between the mounting prongs. It should have around 5 ohms of resistance.If the relay has an internal vibration when shaken, it is a sign that it is broken.
