Description: 1980s-early 1990's elaborate chandelier clip on chandelier earrings by Chipita.Oxidized metals and glass crystals, semi precious beads and pink watermelon rhodochrosite quartz cabochons.Silver tone pacers. Little beads hand sewn around a piece of vinyl (or leather) which hug the oval cab.They measure 5" long. Clips.Hand made and each pair by this company was unique.Do you know that earring like these took about 2-3 hour a piece to make? (I made them in the 80's as well. See last photo. I made the blister pearl ones for my wedding day. Those are not for sale nor are the ones in the box). All 80's/90's earrings are from my personal collection. Truly one of a kind.I wore elaborate dangle earrings while I worked in the garment center from 1981 up til 1990.Purchased from various downtown Manhattan jewelry boutiques/sample sales and juried craft shows on the east coast.
