Allows for complete reinstall of all threading gears and auto feed systems. Each one is custom built when you order. When the build is complete, it will be tested for 20 minuets. Any defects found during testing will require a complete new build. This insures you do not have to deal with returns and exchanges due to manufacturer defects. All parts required to build are In stock. That means if it is listed as available, it is because we have enough parts to build at least two. We also stock extra parts in case of warranty. In past 3 years, almost all defects that would have been warranty have been caught and remedied during the above testing. End result is: We have only 2 out of hundreds that required a warranty replacement part in 3 years. In stock: Built with the new designs for 2024. Fits mini metal lathes that the drive belt goes directly to the spindle gear. Does not fit mini metal lathes that have an intermediate shaft (high/low gear). To fit these you would need to purchase one of my systems designed for two speeds as seen by eBay listing # 184590554254 Note: Most individual parts, timing belt with timing gears, spacers and adapters are available separately. Motor mount is not sold separately so if you plan to use a Vevor, you will have to weld your own. Instead, see my other listings for a complete kit. The horsepower improvement is incredible. Kinda like replacing the small block with a big block in your Mustang/Camaro muscle car. Just pure power, so much so that you will never use all of it. This system provides full power at any speed and that includes Spindle RPM's as low as 200 RPM's Motor and spindle speeds + Reverse: The motor speed can be programmed and or full range can be achieved with just the speed control knob: Speed control programming only requires a few easy steps. Reverse is simple, just hold the yellow button for a few seconds. Programming includes the ability to set bottom and top RPM range separately. In other words you can program the system to run the spindle at any speed or range of speeds you choose (see below). Slowest speed achievable: Motor 200 RPM = Spindle 120 RPM. Highest speed possible: Motor 4,500 RPM = Spindle just over 2,800 RPM's. Note: it is not recommended to spin the spindle any faster unless you upgrade the factory installed spindle bearings. Built in Thermal overload protection rocker style switch with reset function. See photos, make note of the orange power switch with the word RESET. See the red lathe. If your lathe has holes instead of the normal slots, this motor will not fit without your ability to slot the cast iron lathe bed. Additionally if you return this item for this reason, you will pay shipping both ways.You will have to cut the die-cast gear housing to allow additional room for the larger timing belt. (see photos) this can be done with a hacksaw and a file but a pneumatic cut off tool or die grinder will ease this job.A spreader wrench is a big help but this can be managed with a hammer and punch.You will need metric and domestic allen wrenches + a 13mm/1/2" deep socket and ratchet.Some longer allen head metric allen head bolts (not included) may also be required, especially it you over tighten and strip the factory bolts provided with your machine.Notes:This system has so much more power that it becomes tempting to see just how much you can cut in a single pass. Do not do this because the rest of the mini lathe is not built strong/stable enough for this kind of abuse.
