Easy to grow from seed and naturally spreads by underground runners. They do well in very poor soil, including shallow rocky soil. Just do not give them too much shade or too rich of a soil. Yarrow has been in herb gardens for centuries as a medicinal herb to heal wounds. Along with it's fragrant scent in aromatic leaves, it is great with borders, mixing in with wild flowers or a stand of their own. Dead head for more continuous blooms and may want to divide every 2 or 3 years. They do become drought tolerant, but do well with a little water. They can stand high heat and humidity. A superb cut or dried flower and very hardy!
