These postcards are ANTIQUE from the early 1900s, and show LANDSCAPE and RURAL VIEWS. These type of postcards were very popular because they looked like ART PAINTINGS. The postcards have water views, sunsets, trees, relaxing nature views, homes, etc. Publishers like Tuck & Sons made these type of postcards popular because of their beautiful design and colors, and they became souvenirs for the recipient to cherish. The postcards are nicely drawn, have good detail, and are pleasing to look at. Three of these are ARTIST SIGNED. These are good postcards to add to a collection because of their attractive nature. They would appeal to collectors because of their nice designs, how they capture the design style used back in the early 1900s, and how they provide a glimpse of life back in that era. They are from different publishers. Three of the postcards are part of a set from the same publisher. Overall, a nice selection of antique Greetings postcards at a reasonable price. The postcards are UNPOSTED (5) and POSTED (4) with cancel dates of 1910-1911. One has a foreign stamp. Some of the older postcards would have been "Printed in Germany" during the "Golden Age of Postcards (1908-1915 era). They are flat printed and have DIVIDED backs. These are BETTER POSTCARDS and good for a collector. The postcards will keep their value! They are in good condition. Regarding condition, please note that we try to remove damaged postcards from our lots, and only sell those postcards that are worth having in a collection. However, because of their age, please expect some creases, cuts, stains, and edge wear on the postcards. We do not want you to be disappointed.
