Description: 95-99 Neon Coupe Window Brackets - 3D printed. 3D Printed in PETG for heat resistance, 95-99 neon Coupe Window Bracket Set. *Default color is Black, however colors may vary depending on material stock, all material properties are the same for the PETG filament used* The main brackets are printed in PETG 0.20mm resolution, 20% infill. This allows slight deflection of the bracket on the curved rail. The slide components are printed solid infill for wear resistance and durability. Nylon locking nuts for vibration resistance, captive hex head bolt to maintain flush fit to the windshield surface. Designed and tested installed currently in my 1999 Neon R/T, 1998 Plymouth Expresso and 1998 Neon Base Coupe. Used for over 3 years. See installation images. Ships in black with a neon logo keychain, PTFE Grease and JoshToshCreations sticker. Notice: Differences between OEM part and 3D Printed part. Step out for the bolts to window may appear backwards however, The white plastic mold injected nylon on the original brackets that touch up against the window, are the same face as the black backing of the 3D Print. The inside oval of the nylon injection is the same depth from the outside surface to the inner tin bracket, as the 3D print back is to the inside recess. I essentially moved the entire face of the back of the OEM tin bracket down to be flush with the nylon face and moved the adjustment distance offset for the window bracket bolts out on the top side of the bracket. This allows the 3D print to sit flat on the printing bed, while still retaining adjustability distance for the bolt surface. Installation; Remove door panel Phillips screw in door panel pocket recess, and torx screw in door handle. Using a plastic window pry tools, remove the clips around the door panel, for manual windows, pop handle retaining clip off, the remove slip and foot handle bar inside door panel and remove the panel. For electric windows, remove clip and door handle bar inside door panel and remove electrical connectors for window switches then remove door panel (optional to leave attached for operation of window during installation for adjustment.) Remove bolts from window bracket. Remove window guide rail from inside of door through opening. Bend the bottom end tab straight, slide the old bracket off, grease the new 3D Printed bracket with provided PTFE grease between the guide slots and on the metal OEM guide rail. Install the bracket onto the rail. Bend the tab back 90°, and install into the door. Once installed, line up the bracket to the window hardware. The bracket will sit flush with the window, as the hardware that clips into the window will be within the recessed slots. Loosely install the screws hand tight. Roll the window up and adjust in place, snug the bolts down tight, careful not to over tighten to prevent damage to window/hardware. Once adjusted, roll the window down and back up. Open the door and ensure the window edge does not catch, readjust if necessary. Ensure the window edge seals when the door is closed fully. Reach out with any questions during installation.
