This listing is for one well-known brand antenna that was purchased new, disassembled, and then custom fine-tuned by hand before reassembly to obtain an outstanding high performance level using lab grade equipment in three (3) very specific Public Safety frequency ranges of 700 MHz (769-806 MHz), 800 MHz (806-862 MHz), and the GPS (1575 MHz) band that is our 95A model antenna. On top of the added communications performance our high custom reworking of the antenna also reduces the standard 4+ inch OEM antenna height down to an approximate 3 inch height and improves the impedance match to 50 ohms with a very low VSWR. The tuning of each 95A antenna is slightly different between antennas and may have a small height variance of up to + or - 1/4 inch from the new reduced height of 3 inches. The 800 MHz and the 700 MHz frequency ranges are used for Public Safety Police, Fire, and Rescue Trunked/Conventional radio systems across the US. Our antenna will cover all of the US National 800 MHz and 700 MHz extended band frequencies as published in the Homeland Security “National Interop Field Operations Guide” (NIFOG book), US FEMA interop radio channels, and all Statewide radio systems rebanded (courtesy of Nextel) into the 800 MHz frequency ranges. No laws of physics are being broken with our short stubby antenna. They are just enhanced to their maximum limits with the proper test equipment. A resonant tuned antenna will always outperform any same size or larger non-resonant untuned antenna from any OEM well-known brand or aftermarket source.
