I purchased this from an fairly older woman who said this was her fathers lantern. She said he found some of them in barns and places like that and restored them with their original parts, and then restored them to look in more original condition. He traveled to find some of the parts. This lantern from the chimney to the lowest wire guard are in fairly good condition. The globe is not cracked or broken. The metal shows a little age. The knob on the slip burner turns. If you're asking me if this works, I do not know but I would guess it does. This is embossed The Adams & Westlake Co. on the lid. The amber globe has no markings on it that I could see. The top of the chimney has U.P. on it. The burner says Adlake 300. There are multiple engravings on the bottom. See 2nd photo.
