This glove is for the RIGHT handed thrower as the glove fits on the LEFT hand ! This glove appears to have been barely used as the glove is very very clean ! I would say that the mitt was used just enough to break it into playing condition so the glove is firm in form but it is flexible enough to use as a gamer ! This particular glove is somewhat on the lightweight side as it weighs 1 pound and 5.4 ounces ! So the glove is fairly lightweight and you should take that into consideration if you plan on using the mitt for a boy ! The glove also has an incredible pocket as you can clearly see in the photos ! Once the ball enters this mitt it is not going to pop out ! Checkout the 4th and the 5th photos how the glove totally swallows up a baseball and the 6th photo how the glove looks in the closed position without a baseball in the pocket ! The 7th photo shows how the glove wraps itself around a full size 12 inch round softball ( the softball just fits in the mitt but without a lot of room so I don’t think this mitt is designed for softball ) ! The inner lining is in excellent condition as the glove is extremely comfortable to the hand and the fingers all the way up through the finger stalls ! As far as fitting goes, The glove is a tight fit on my average adult size hand and it is also very tight in the finger stalls ! The glove does NOT have a Velcro wristband ! There is no ink or marker anywhere on the glove that I can see ! You will not be disappointed with this glove !
