Before installation, ensure the door and glass are in good working condition and the window can travel up and down without falling or binding up. It's recommended to check and replace the rubber window channels and stoppers where necessary to prevent damage to the window glass if it travels up or down too far. There must be at least 1" (25.4mm) of clearance between the glass and the door. There must be a minimum of 7" (178mm) below the lowest point of the glass There must be a minimum of 2" door thickness
