Unlike Madame Web and its trailers, however, Taylor-Johnson's Kraven has hit well with fans and audiences thanks to footage released thus far. The actor has transformed himself into a sexy, muscular powerhouse for a movie that promises to reveal the origin and rise of Kraven, his brother THE CHAMELEON, as well as introduce a new, far more comic book accurate variant of THE RHINO. Always a key villain in the greater mythos of Marvel's wallcrawler, Kraven has also not historically been a widely-utilized villain across the publisher's many Spider-Man titles. More recently featured in the X-Men spin-off title, X-Force, Kraven's last Spider-title appearance was as the antagonist for a two-part arc in Amazing Spider-Man #79-80 (Vol 5, 2022). While the Spider-Man of the story is actually BEN REILLY and the storyline is based around the BEYOND CORPORATION, Amazing Spider-Man #79 brings us an INCENTIVE 1:25 VARIANT COVER featuring a fantastic illustration of Kraven The Hunter by artist SERGIO DAVILA.
