Description: For sale is your choice(s) of Amphenol microphone or phono plugs and receptacles, left behind in the radio electronics inventory of my late father. He was an active HAM radio operator for over 70 years, and was a radio and other electronics serviceman for much of his life. He always kept a generous inventory of spare and replacement parts on hand, for speedy service calls for his customers, available for walk-in customers to his service shop, and handy for his own electronics projects. All his components were stored in a dry, smoke-free environment. Note that I am only charging shipping for the first item purchased, and any additional items you purchase will be included at no additional shipping charges. (Fortunately, my dad also left behind a "library" of vintage catalogs, to help identify and describe these items!)Here's what we have here: 75-MC1F, used This straight plug is used, with a piece of cable still attached. It has the spring, and will need de-soldering. This is what the Amphenol catalog says about the Series 75 connectors: They have been standard with leading "mike" manufacturers for many years. They are also widely used on amplifiers, transmitters, phono-electric devices, home recorders, PM speakers, headphones, theft alarms and coin operated devices. The unbreakable shielded cable type connectors are made of chrome plated, machined brass. The threaded ends engage with the coupling rings to make a positive, noise-free, leak-proof connection by pressing the center contacts firmly together. Spring cord protectors accommodate cables up to 1/4" diameter. Receptacles mount in .385" holes when grounding to chassis; .500" holes for ungrounded two circuit applications. Can be screwed into housing or stand having standard 3/8"-24 tapped hole. 75-MC1F, new old stock (see above for specifications) (One of the springs has a mark, perhaps from something in storage. It will not affect the use.) 75-MC1M, used, cable jack, with cable stub. Will need de-soldering. 80-M, straight plug, new old stock. (mates with 80-F1.) This is what the Amphenol catalog says about the Series 80 connectors: 80 Series male and female units have coupling rings. Female chassis connectors have coupling thread. Male chassis units have coupling rings. Female chassis connectors have coupling threads. All mount in 5/8" holes. Each 80 Series cable unit connects with any mating cable or chassis unit of this series, but not wit units of other series. Maximum chassis thickness for lock-nut type receptacles is 11/32". Can be mounted directly on mike body having 5/8"-24 tapped hole. 80-F1, used, Cable plug (mates with 80-M) See catalog description above. 80-C, new old stock, Female single contact chassis 80-PC2M, new old stock, 2-contact microphone receptor, "2 pin offset microphone panel jack for Collins, Heathkit, Johnson" (from a better listing than mine) 80-MC2F1, used, with red & black cables connected, 2-contact microphone plug 80-MC2F1, used, with gray single cable connected, 2-contact microphone plug 80-MC2M, used, with cable connected, 2-contact microphone plug 75-PC1M, new old stock, Locknut receptacles, microphone panel jack for Heathkit (I found on line), mates with 75-MC1F I hope one or more of these items are ones you would like to keep on hand in YOUR vintage electronics inventory!!
