This antenna was used in field strength tests by me as a TV Broadcast Engineer. It performs best when used outdoors at the FCC recommended installation height, but the age of digital TV created exceptions to that rule and reasonable reception can be achieved in many locations close to the transmitting antenna, and especially in urban areas and apartment buildings with multi floor elevation.
