Description: Up for sale is an exceedingly rare antique 19th century birdcage made by world famous gunsmith Wesley Richards in London.It features a sleek Victorian style out of sterling and mother of pearl inlaid wood and very well done.It is embellished with blue stained glass paneling and brass wrapped wiring throughout.The cage has a velour wrapped hanging chain and its original W Richards brass manufacturer plaque on the front.It is in good used condition and measures 21 inches tall by 10 1/2 inches wide by 10 1/2 inches long.There are a couple very small chips to the wood and it has some missing wire embellishments on the top as shown in last photo.
