Antique 1920's black semi-sheer lace drop waist dress w/ beaded sk panel size XS

Description: Garb yourself in Great Gatsby-era delicacy, with this vampish black lace dress... This authentic 1920's dress has been restored to a new beauty! It is rare to come across a hand-washed piece from the 20's, but here you have found one. I had to wash this dress (or at least get it wet) to release a row of haggard, broken gelatin 'studs'. To replace the former gelatin adornment, I utilized Victorian or Edwardian-era faceted glass buttons/beads, which may be seen all along the drop waist, interspersed with the remaining seed beading. The original center skirt panel was also missing, so I sourced a true 1920's sheer silk chiffon piece, with scallop edged hem, as well as tambour-style jet beading design (this beading helps to echo the subtle beading at drop waist) of swirls and chandelier-like diamond drops. I have also gone through and repaired any weakened areas and holes present -to varying degrees of noticeability. The only history I gleaned when purchasing this piece, is that it was used by a theater company for its last years.This is a hand-made piece, and features scoop neckline, and arm holes edged in a black-blue silk satin bias fabric trim. The wearer's left shoulder reveals tiny triple metal snap closure (no other closure! You must be able to slip dress on). Overall condition is excellent (for its age) and ready to wear (with delicacy), many repairs throughout and alight modification from its original design -please review photographs for full details.
