Description: Antique 19thC J & G Meakin Waldorf Green Transferware Ironstone Platter 14 1/2 Late 19th Century J & G Meakin Hanley, England Waldorf pattern Green transferware scroll pattern around inner rim and in center. 14 1/2" long x 10 1/2" wide x 1 1/4" high Marked on the back with the J & G Meakin Hanley England name and Crown maker's mark and Waldorf, the pattern name and an impressed 22. Condition is very, very good. No chips, cracks or repairs. The white ironstone is a crisp white. There is a blemish that was done during the manufacturing process, see our last photo. On the underside there are some small light scuff marks on the inner rim. A few light utensil marks Enlarge photos to see details.
