Description: Antique Victoria Cabinet Photo Young Boy’s family paying tribute to their hero Col Josiah Walcott Bissell Civil War Union Veteran with the hat and printed inscription below their sons photo. Col. Bissell died in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania in 1891. The unknown boy’s photo was taken at The Illinois College of Photography in Effingham Illinois sometime in the latter part of the 1800’s. Super unique photo. I have never seen anything like this before. I’ve been collecting since 1977. Most likely a 1/1? [NOTE: THIS IS AN ANONYMOUS BOY NOT COL. JOSAIH WOLCOTT BISSELL Himself]. Condition: Crisp clean photo. Has a blemish on his collar, and a tiny section of the edge at the top has been bent back (See photos). Measures: 6” x 4 1/4” Please email me with any questions.
