Very old folk art - From a collector's estate. The statue was professionally conserved. It measures 10 1/2" tall without the metal attachment, and 14 1/2" with the attachment. It is missing the right arm and left thumbing parts of both feet. The conservation included the following 1. The gesso and paint layer was stabilized and soncolidated2. The surface was gently cleaned3. The overpainting was removed where possible4. The original polychromy was protected with varnishThe restoration cost 350$. One of two angels from the same estate.
