Description: Antique Chinese Porcelain bowl Guangxu to Republic Period Circa 1910 This beautiful and very well painted Chinese porcelain bowl depicts a mother with her child riding a mythological beast and being followed by an attendant who is screening them. The ground color is yellow with a pale red border and decorated in greens and blues with various Chinese symbols entwined in convolvulus vines. There is a very small chip on the rim with a repair from which two short hairlines occur-one being about .25 in. long-the other about .75 in. long. The bowl has a nice ping to it. There are no other chips-cracks or hairlines. The bowl is signed with a six character Chien Lung mark, circa 1910. It is 9.5 in. diameter, by 1.75 in. tall. Guaranteed to be as described.
