Description: This is an absolute glorious piece and as perfect and wonderful as antique kimono get. I suspect this was a pre-war, deadstock bolt or karinui that was recently tailored. All the stitching is pretty fresh and new, but look at that silk and that embroidery and you'll know this is an antique. We got modern crests but you can see some shadowing on the silk around them where they were meant to be bigger. I've also included pictures of the inside sleeves where you can see there is a good chunk of spare silk in them that can be taken out for that antique/vintage look if you should desire. This kimono is made from luscious high-end ro silk; there is no UV damage. There may be a mark or two from storage, but nothing I can find. It's absolutely wearable. Bright colors, all of the silver couching is tight to the silk and immaculately done. Honestly, this is some of the best and crispest couching I've ever seen. It is SO good. We have AWESOME measurements for this one, though honestly I notice that antique kimono of a higher quality tend to have more generous measurements because hey, if you can afford the really expensive silk, turns out you probably can eat better too. So, if you're one of those people who are talking to me about how you can never find antiques in longer and wider sizes; here is your kimono! I cannot stress enough how high quality of a piece this is. Probably mid 1930s was when the bolt/karinui was made and was probably finally tailored in the last 30 or so years. I do not think this piece has ever been worn. Basting stitches are intact and they look like 'store' or 'shop' basting stitches versus the kind put in for storage. No rips. No tears. No smells. Length: 165.5cmYuki: 65.5cmFrontwidth: 24.5cm Backwidth: 30cmSleeve length: 52.5cm ( there's at least 5cm that can be dropped ) I only ship within the continental US + Alaska + Hawaii. I cannot ship to APO/military bases overseas. I do not deal with customs forms at all, this is just a side thing I do for enjoyment, and international shipping just gives me really big anxiety. I also do not have a printer and overseas prepaid labels require a printer and cannot be generated with a QR code which is how I ship all my packages via USPS. Thank you for understanding.
