Description: Antique French bronze medallion in the art deco style featuring "Marianne" (the National Symbol of France) by Morlon, 36mm, c. 1920s. The obverse features oak and olive wreaths as created by H. Dubois and notes this medallion as a physical educational award. The rim is stamped "bronze" w/ a Paris Mint mark. Great piece to transform into a pendant if so desired. Condition of this fine French medallion is in excellent used condition w/ slight blemishes consistent with it's age. Please carefully review all photos for detailed surface/rim conditions and markings as they are part and parcel of the description and therefore this medallion is "as is".
