Description: This iron set has always been together since their manufacture by the Robert Forgan and Sons company. Matching original grips throughout. The heads and faces are all in extremely fine condition. Lined face scoring is sharp and crisp, as are the back stampings. The shafts are straight, however there is a break in the 8 iron, the 4 iron shaft has an old repair and to me the 5 iron needs a longer shaft. As collectibles,they are what they are! For those considering play, those 3 shafts should be changed out. They could all stand to be lengthened a bit. The 5,6,7,and 8 are all about 36”. The 1 is 39.5”, and the 2,3, and 4, fall in between ( see photo). All clubs are in the middle Cs for swingweight. It is a very rare thing to find all these clubs still together, and a full set, as not many were made. Mostly at the time individual clubs were sold, and players filled out their own sets.
