Description: Antique Hickory Wood Shaft Tom Stewart Mashie Handforged in Scotland. Initialed with J D L . Tom Morris used Tom Stewart in manufacturing. Stewart started in the 1890's. I'm not sure if their is any connection between Jas McGregor and the MacGregor company. The wood Shaft is in good condition. The Hickory is 33 1/2" long. The entire length is 38".The shaft has typical scratches, see photos. The grip was falling off, so I removed it. It looks to be from a later period. The leather grip is not damaged and could easily be reattached. The forged head is in very good condition. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. See pictures. Thanks.
