Gold leaf page edges. Illustrated with full-page images of buildings and people. CONDITION Acceptable. The leather is deteriorating and sheds easily. Both books show wear to exterior, and have spines that have been repaired with black tape. Many full page illustrations. Stains to a couple of pages. Volume I has a spine that has a piece missing along the lower edge about 3" long and volume II has a piece of leather missing along the top of the spine.
