Description: Antique Japanese Woodblock Print in Original Frame 1900-1920's. Framed, measures 16 3/4" X 4 3/4" the woodblock is 12" X 2". The woodblock print is framed by handmade paper, and in original frame with original backing stating who framed it, old tape and antique nails. The screws holding wire are the only thing "newer" on this framed woodblock. Framed by "Seybt & Carter Book store, Greenville SC" which was in business from 1909 until 1939 according to Greenville Historical research. The woodblock is in very good condition, being kept under glass. There is slight water damage at bottom & right side closer to frame. Tanning of paper, typical of paper this old. All pictures except last one, were taken inside in natural light. The last picture was taken outside I ship exactly what is shown in the photos, so buy with confidence.
