Description: Beautiful antique troy laboratory/apothecary weight set. Maple block contains 7 solid brass weights. Block measures 5 3/4" long x 2" deep x 1 1/2" tall. Brass weights are all marked and consist of 1 x 2 toz, 1 x 1 toz, 1 x 1/2 toz, 2 x .2 toz, and 1 x .1 toz. The smallest weight is not marked. There is space for fractionals. Original black velvet covers the inside of the lid. Great for a collection or to use. Box was cleaned and refinished with MinWax Satin varnish and hand polished to a soft luster with 0000 steel wool and paste wax. Felt pads on protect bottom of the box.
