Description: Mid-nineteenth century folding map of the West Riding of Yorkshire. Part of Walker's County Map Series. Published by Longmans, Rees, Orme, Brown & Co.. Not dated but the paper on the inside of the cover shows population figures for 1841 so assume 1840's. The map is cloth backed. The map sheet measures roughly 42 cm by 34 cm. Good condition. Some marks and wear to the cover. The map is cloth backed and remains in good condition with only small marks as shown in the photographs.
