Description: Description:These great doors were salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian.They are made of oak and are painted on both sides. Each has a glass opening at the top (no glass) with 2 raised wood panels below. The doorknobs will need to be replaced but other hardware is present. They measure 52 inches wide together, 80.25 tall, and almost 2 inches thick.Overall they are in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as they are antique. They could use a good cleaning. 1 door was trimmed and is an inch shorter than the other, shortest height given. They originally had stained glass panels so the glass stop moldings have notches for reinforcing bars, a couple are also cracked. The door without the knobs has a chip and loss at the bottom that will need to be repaired. Please look at the pictures carefully. We generally make delivery trips along the I-85 and I-95 corridors to central Florida and the Florida panhandle in January. In spring and fall we go from Pennsylvania to Atlanta, over to Houston, up to Kansas City and St. Louis then up into Iowa, Chicago and home through Michigan and Ohio. Trips to NYC and New England are as needed. We can personally deliver if you are somewhat close to these routes much cheaper than freight or uship. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job!
