Description: This used to hold Hopkins wood samples. It's 19.25 x 16.25 x 2.75 inches and it's very old. It has closure clips on two sides, and was likely fashioned in the museum's fabrication shop. Both panes of glass are smeared with some kind of adhesive or something which may be removable as there are loose flakes of the stuff inside the case. One of the panes of glass has a large crack. When I ship this to you, I'd like to ship it without the glass, with the understanding that the wooden frame is the valuable and interesting part of the box. If you want the original glass I'll do my best to ship it to you but you must realize that the cracked pane of glass is very likely to break during shipment no matter how well I secure it, so please assume it won't survive the trip. It is, as they say, what it is. :-)
