Description: Antique Opaque Luneville French Signed Basket Weave Reticulated Border 8" Plate Such a beautiful plate, with three little birds on a twig and flowers on the side. There is a painted basketweave design on a reticulated border; the artist's initials are on the front bottom: BG. Made by the French Company, Luneville, circa late 1800s, early 1900s. Measures 8 1/8" in diameter and weighs 9.3 ounces. In very good antique condition, there are no chips or cracks, there is some slight age-related crazing. In the last photo in the series above, is an imperfection that appears to have been done during manufacturing.
