Description: This set of primitive textile spools have a very pretty wood finish with the smaller one having a metal band along the edge. Used during the 1800's into early 1900's, these spools are now re-purposed into craft creations as well as used for candle holders. The larger one measures 12'' tall on a 2-1/2'' across base with the top 1-3/4'' across and has various holes along the wood sides. The smaller one is 5'' tall on a 1-5/8'' across base with the top 1-1/2'' across and has solid wood sides with a metal band on one top edge. In very good original condition.
