Description: This item is one (1) antique "French Tight", "Paris Back" sewing button. This is a well made little metal button picturing the head of an ancient Roman, Greek or other soldier, or perhaps a mythological person, or even Joan of Arc, wearing a helmet. It is only about 1/2" in diameter but has a lot of detail. It has the back mark: SOLIDAIRE PARIS. Very good condition.There are more than 1 of these available but the price is for each button. Additional buttons add little or nothing to the shipping costs. I am always happy to combine similar items (or items that will pack well together) for possible savings on postage.
