Description: Description: A stunning Stevens & Williams clear crystal glass torpedo lay scent bottle, the tapered body polished intaglio cut with scrolling flowers and foliage below a silver hallmarked push button cap made by Haseler Brothers, Birmingham. Please note that these do not have separate stoppers - the seal is by a sprung plate in the cap. Identifying Marks / Makers Marks: Hallmarked on the collar with "H. BRs" (Haseler Brothers), an anchor (Birmingham), "l" (1885) and the lion passant (silver) as shown in the photographs. Age / date of manufacture: 1885. Size: Measures 6 3/4" (17.5 cm) long from the bottom of the bottle to the top of the cap. Condition: The glass is all in good order and free from damage or restoration. The glass is not cloudy but there is some light residue in places stuck to the inside of the bottle. The cap is free from splits but has some very minor shallow dents when tipped through the light.
