Description: Oversized hardcover….10” x 12.5”. 625+ pages. Beautiful embossed cover. Worn exterior with corner bumps/scrapes. Spine cover ends are frayed with the top having a small, repaired split. Binding is very good as the book is ex-library and has a library style spine repair. The pages are clean, with a hint of age tone near the page edges. The text block edge gilding is still clean and bright. As being ex-library, there is the usual small stamps here and there in the text. Nothing excessive but there’s a couple near the corner of full page plates. The amount of illustrations in this book is tremendous. Lots of in text and full page images. The table of contents is very large and deserves a good reading…..And along with the illustrations list, runs to six pages. Wide variety of artists,…sculptors, print makers, both historical and contemporary. Art criticism and short bios of artists of the time. Overall condition of the book is fair-good
