Description: You are bidding on a Antique Victorian set of 9 karat gold and tortoise shell ( faux) Lorgnette ladies folding opera glasses. The item is marked at the corner of the glasses 9ct. All of the parts that are not shell are gold. 9 ct gold is most likely from Great Britain. There are no issues with the shell part of the item. Glasses are spring loaded and work great. This was just freshly pulled out of a Florida house that I am currently cleaning out. I have seen a few of these listed and most are just shell .
