The measurement is about 4 1/4" tall to the top of the twisted handle and 2 1/4" widest at the basket. Without the handle is about 3 3/8" tall to the top of bird on the egg. The metal stand look ormolu / gilt bronze or brass in woven basket design. The egg is mount set in bronze hinged frame, a bird stand on top of the egg.. This piece is in great condition, no chips or cracks on the glass. There is couple of cut lines ( deep scratches) at the bottom of the egg. It is from original glass making factory flaw. Please check last photo. A few tiny white spot also from original making. Hinge and clasp works good. No break on the metal, very minor wear on the gilt. This dated early 1900s.
