Description: This is a complete one owner set in very good condition. The leather bindings are all still in tact. The pages, though they show some darkening around the edges, are still crisp and clear of the reader. The gold gilding on the leather and on the top of the pages is still in wonderful condition. For a 48 volume set printed in the 1830s, there are a few issues. I did notice some slight water stains and foxing on the first few blank pages of the book. The outside covers of the book, some of them have minor wear on the covers of the books. We have not detected any smells of mold or mildew.
