Description: Antique Wool Felt Button Spats Shoe Covers Leather Straps Brown Early 1900s Mens This pair of felted wool spats will make a fabulous addition to your collection whether you focus on authentic original Victorian fashion or Steampunk style. Vintage spats aren't my area of expertise but I believe they are early 19th Century in style and appear to be a grayish brown color felted wool (with greenish canvas details inside) but I cannot guarantee. I am not sure what shoe size they correspond to so if you need additional measurements please let me know. Each measures approximately 5" x 8.5" when laying flat/closed (not including the strap). The strap is approximately 6" long.Approximate weight is 2.4 oz totalCondition: In vintage/antique condition with wear including but not limited to dirt, dust, grime, stains, patina, tarnish, verdigris, lent, fraying, fuzzing, each has a few holes in the felted material, the leather has stiffened and is degrading as shown in photos, some of the sewn seams have loose threads, stiffening of the felted material, fading, frayed canvas border liners on the interior, torn edges/details, the buckles include rust and are missing some of the plated finish, the edges overall are somewhat frayed/fuzzy, and overall wear from age and use.
