Description: Up for sale is an antique working decoy. My understanding is that this was made in Long Island. Nice surface. Early decoy. Late 1800s or early 1900s Came out of the Brams Folk Art Collection (NYC). Condition: Head has some separation from the body but isn't loose or moving now. Some age cracks and minor splitting to the body. Split in the neck. Small chunk missing on the one side of the neck. Looks like maybe some extra nails in there. If it was reinforced it was done a long time ago. Old paint. Has a great surface. Paint shows some wear. Looks like a newer leather strap was added to the base but that should come out very easily. Has a lead weight. See photos and video. 13 and half inches long. 7 inches tall.
