Description: ANTQ_C.E. Jennings Handsaw_24-3/4" Long_10 tpi_Good Condition This thing is way outside my wheelhouse (books) but it came with a bunch of stuff I bought, so I figured I'd list it anyway. From my internet research, it is a C.E. Jennings handsaw, measuring 24-3/4" along the blade. The catalogs I found online are all from the early 1900s but I can't put a year or model on it. I looked at other eBay ads for similar items and assume that 'tpi' means teeth per inch. I measured and counted 10 in one inch. The previous owner put some adhesive tape over the teeth which I removed, and then I cleaned the adhesive residue from the blade with Goo Gone. The teeth are sharp, the handle is intact, there is a little medallion with the company name on it. It doesn't look new but it seems to be in really good condition. The saw will be well-packaged and promptly shipped upon purchase. FYI, I listed another old handsaw with a winter scene painted on it. It also has a little medallion that says "Disston, Phila".
