They help to eliminate a considerable amount of weight relative to the factory steel part they're replacing. Also, it allows base W211 and W219 AMG owners to UPGRADE from 360mm (14") front rotors to 390mm (15") front rotors. These brackets provide fantastic fit, finish, functionality, and reliability!! Extensive street testing on our own daily-driven E63-AMG proved that these parts work flawlessly under any condition without any sacrifice. Our testing has shown that the actual weight of our 390mm brackets compared to the weight of the factory steel 360mm brackets is LESS THAN HALF!!
