Description: Vintage Cleaning brush for the 1891 1909 Argentine Mauser Rifle and Carbines. Brush in excellent condition, appearing unused, is part of the standard cleaning kit, these would have been found with additional cleaning kit tools to store in a roll up pouch. This brush appears to be plated brass and horse hair. Marked on the base APG (same marking you can find in some Argentine muzzle brass covers) "Arsenal Principal de Guerra", Buenos Aires. This brush looks much more steadier than the green ones that the thread easily breaks. The brush is 3 5/8 in overall length and unscrews to hold weapons grease inside.
