Description of item for sale: This solid wood hand carved statue of Joseph and Jesus is from France and it dates to the late 1800's. Note fine details in the faces, robe, fingers and toes. The original hand painted polychrome finish is slightly worn here and there but still shows its beautiful original colors. Overall this statue is in very good antique condition with minor chips, scratches and discolorations as would be expected. There is also a handful of old, inactive woodworm holes.
