It is a good focal length for capturing celestial objects like the North American Nebula, The Western Veil Nebula, The Andromeda Galaxy, The Moon and The Sun. You can see pictures I took of these objects in the item photos. It centers around the telescope, a Sky-Watcher Evolux 62ED, The goto tracker mount, a Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer GTI and a camera, a Nikon D5300 DSLR that I modified for full spectrum photography. It works spectacularly well as you can see in the example photos I've provided. If you get the mount level and do a very precise alignment (Polar or Multi Star) you can do multiple very long exposures to capture even very faint objects to stack together afterward. It does not include the power strip and extension cord. If you intend to use it in remote areas where there is no line power, you will want to invest in a battery system to plug into, It is not included but I have had very good luck using the Jackery Portable Power Station Explorer 240. Things to Note Do not buy this if you don't have a pretty good understanding of how all of this works and all of the steps to be taken apart from the actual astrophotography such as taking calibration frames and combining your calibration images with your light images in stacking software. There are some scuffs (mostly on the case) here and there but unless specifically noted below, everything works perfectly. The 56mm eyepiece: the glass inside is detached and moves. It has worked for me anyway but for the purpose of calculating value, assume its broken and if you want to glue it and it works for you, its a bonusThe Lasers are very powerful (Especially the green laser) and should never be pointed at anyone or any vehicles especially airplanes. In most places there are criminal penalties for pointing a laser at an aircraft so use them with great caution. The SSid for the asi air is the default ( ASIAIR_06d8793e ) and the password is also the default ( 12345678 ) You will want to turn off your mobile data and forget any other wifi networks to prevent your device from trying to connect to a different network that has internet. The tablet I use is a smasung galaxy tab 6 and it works great with the asi air app.The camera having had its IR/UV cut filter removed works a bit differently. The viewfinder version of auto focus no longer works because of the slight difference in the distance to the sensor without the filter. The rear screen focus still works. Also, i covered the body of the camera in red and white acrylic paint so I would stop mixing it up with other cameras, this does not impare its operation in any way but if you are unfamiliar with the camera you may need to google an image or two to see what the buttons do as the labels are somewhat obscured ShippingThe main shipping box will contain three items, they are quite heavy. The main case 34" x 20" x 12" weighing 50lbsThe smaller case 15" x 11" x 8" weighing 10lbsThe Tripod 27" x 6" x 6" weighing 7lbsThe outer package is 42 x 26 x 12 weighing 67lbs
