Description: The absolute final word in diecast perfection! Autoart makes the nicest car models on Earth, and here’s one of my favorites: the McLaren MP4 12C. I’ve owned this model since it was new, picked it up at a now defunct model shop in Los Angeles, CA and flew back with it all the way to Cleveland, Ohio. The MP4 here has opening everything (doors, hood, trunk, etc.), moving everything (steerable wheels, windshield wiper, rear wing, even the seatbelt goes up and down!) and is very heavy, built like a tank. These AutoArt event have simulated “carpeting” for the floor and the trunk lining (see pics). This model will come with ALL its original paperwork, including manual and Certificate of Authenticity, + of course the original storage box and inner styrofoam safety holder. The car displays as new, but the box has a couple minor flaws (small but of edge wear, from where I flew with the box 13 years ago), and the remnants of the price tag. Please see all pictures.
