Description: The "Beach Party" Fitness Hoop The Beach Party hula hoop is great for that weekend beach party, featuring aqua, gold, and silver sequin tape and thin black gaffers (GRIP) tape to help the colors pop. The grip tape is on the exterior of the hoop so that the maximum grip can be achieved to keep the hoop from slipping down. This hoop is made out of durable PE tubing, 100psi, 3/4". Because this hoop is made to order it can be any of the following sizes (measurement reflects distance from between your belly button and solar plexus to the ground OR measure your waist and use the following calculation: waist size in inches x 1.1 for a fast hoop, waist size in inches x 1.2 for a medium speed hoop, and waist size in inches x 1.3 for a slow hoop) XXS - 32" XS - 34" S - 36" M - 38" L - 40" XL - 42" XXL - 44" (or any size in between - just message seller after you choose a size!) Sizes 36" -44" can be made infinity collapsible, 32"-36" must be made as push button or coiled-down full size hoops which require assembly upon arrival. For coiled hoops you push the male end into the female end and cover the seam with the extra tape provided. It is a great exercise regimen that can help you burn up to 600 calories in an hour! Depending on where you hoop, you can have a complete body workout! Waist hooping helps to tighten the abs, hips, thighs, and aids in digestion. The best reason to hoop is that it makes you feel and look great. Collapsible, Standard or Push Button? This is something you may be asking yourself if you've never purchased a hoop online before. Each has their respective benefits. Standard/coiled full size hoops: After it is assembled there will only be one connector so it will not rotate, especially after being taped over. The barbed fittings is a strong connection so you can have a permanently full-size hoop, no connectors popping out. The female end may require some heating with a hair dryer for 30 seconds to make assembly easier. It is not required but it is helpful. There is grip tape included to cover the seam. Collapsible hoops: They are COMPACT and can be transported anywhere. That's why they are also called TRAVEL HOOPS. They fold down with a few twists (demonstrated on my Youtube video above). Because the connector rotates grip tape is not recommended to cover the seams. Push Button hoops:Push button hoops have the best of both worlds. They have a solid metal push button with a riveted HDPE connector. This enables your hoop to be taken down in size but won't need any specialized twisting to get it to do so.
