Beautiful Wedding Vintage Photo Chrysanthemums Fringed Dress Engver Chicago IL

Description: Offered is an original photograph of a beautiful bride with her new husband. Her dress is just lovely, unusual with a long fringe on the front bodice. She is wearing elbow length white gloves and white chrysanthemums are arranged in front of her. I obtained the photo in an estate lot with quite a few others. From the different writings in the lot, I believe that the family name of the estate was Parson, they came from Illinois. Evelyn Parson was born Evelyn Louise Meyer, her mother was Elsie Louise Engver Meyer, born in 1892 in Illinois. I believe Elsie's mother was Louise Schumacher Engver, who was married to Emil Engver. Many of the photos have writing identifying the people as Engvers and Schumachers, I think this couple is related to the families, but aren't sure who they are. The photographer is listed as "The Cohen Studio ... 771 Milwaukee Avenue ... Chicago, Illinois." Online I found reference to a Joseph Cohen, photographer, at 439 Milwaukee Avenue in 1899, and a J. Cohen at 771 Milwaukee Ave in 1910, so the photo may have been taken around that time. In black and white / sepia, the photo measures 4½ x 6½ inches. It is in very good used condition, in a folder.
