The unit was well maintained but as it had sat unplugged for over a year, the battery backed program chip sets became discharged and needed to be replaced. We were able to successfully test the centrifuge by reprogramming the parameters but the system would lose them again at each power down. As we needed parts for other projects, we dismantled the unit after full testing.This motor was quiet and well behaved. Motor break and acceleration settings operated as expected.
