I'm an RN and wanted to try a couple of different styles. This was my favorite. The mask fits well and the double ties appears to be the best possible design. Elastic is really hard on your ears so tying is preferable. Being able to tie the bottom makes it adhere to your face better. The filter pocket is a nice addition as well. I have read a lot about masks and they appear to be of limited (but better than nothing) efficacy at keeping bad stuff out but of better efficacy at preventing the wearer from transmitting to others.
